Basil and Apple Canapés

Ingredients

Delícia Supreme Light 100 g
Ricotta 200 g
Basil leaves 25 g
Peeled walnuts 20 g
Clove of garlic 1 pc
Grated parmesan 30 g
Lemon juice 30 ml
Salt as needed
Wholemeal bread 10 slice(s)
Green apple with peel 250 g
Lemon juice 30 ml

Preparation Method

1. Combine all the ingredients for the paste and blend in a food processor until you have a smooth paste with small pieces of basil. Adjust the salt if necessary.
2. Prepare the canapés: cut the bread diagonally, making 4 triangles with each one.
3. Spread the paste on them and bake in a preheated oven (180º C) for 5 minutes, without letting the paste melt completely.
4. Meanwhile, put the lemon juice in a bowl with ½ liter of water.
5. Cut the apple in four, remove the seeds, chop into very small cubes and leave them in the lemon water.
6. As soon as the bread is ready, remove it from the oven and top with the apple cubes. Serve afterwards.
