Buttery Lemon and Strawberry Jelly Cake

Ingredients

MASSA
Delícia Cremosa 100 g
Sugar 80 g
Egg 1 pc
Lemon zest and juice 1 pc
Wheat flour 160 g
Baking powder 15 g
Powdered sugar for sprinkling as much as needed

CREAM
Margarine Delícia Creamy unsalted margarine 100 g
Softened cream cheese 200 g
Eggs 2 pcs
Lemon zest 4 g
Icing sugar 95 g

JELLY
Sugar 80 g
Cleaned strawberries without the leaves 1 carton(s)
Lemon juice 15 ml

Preparation Method

MASSA
6. In a mixer, beat the Delícia Cremosa margarine, sugar and egg at high speed until light.
7. Lower the speed, add the juice and turn off.
8. Add the flour, zest and baking powder, mix well and set aside.
9. Place the dough in a round mold with a hole in the middle, lightly greased with Delícia Cremosa margarine.
10. In a single layer, spread the strawberry jam over the pastry and then the cream, spreading it evenly.
11. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 40 minutes.
12. Serve warm or cold sprinkled with icing sugar.

CREAM
3. In a mixer, beat the Delícia Cremosa margarine and cream cheese until smooth.
4. Add the eggs, lemon juice and zest.
5. Add the icing sugar and beat well. Turn off and set aside.

ICE
1. Melt the sugar in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Add the strawberries and lemon juice and, stirring from time to time, cook until the jam is smooth. Turn off and set aside.
