Delícia Supreme 200 g
Wheat flour 120 g
Baking soda 15 g
Eggs 2 pcs
Brown sugar 150 g
Salt 5 g
Large carrot, sanitized, grated 1 pc
Zest of 1 medium lemon
Zest of 1/2 medium orange
Cinnamon powder 1 pinch(s)
Vanilla essence 10 g
Crushed walnuts 70 g
Powdered sugar 95 g
Melted dark chocolate 200 g
MASSA:
1. In a bowl, sift the flour with the bicarbonate and set aside.
2. In a mixer, beat the eggs, brown sugar, Delícia Supreme and salt until a soft and fluffy mixture is obtained.
3. Turn off the mixer and with the help of a spatula, add the flour and bicarbonate mixture; the grated carrot, lemon and orange zest, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence and finally, the walnuts.
4. Mix well and in a round, false-bottomed pan, greased with Delícia Supreme and sprinkled with wheat flour, bake the dough in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 30 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
COVERY:
6. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
7. In a mixer, beat the sugar and unsalted Delícia Supreme until whitish.
8. Add the melted chocolate and continue beating until a smooth cream forms.
9. Pour the cream into a piping bag and decorate the cake.
