Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour (240g)

  • ½ teaspoon salt (5g)

  • ¾ cup hot water (180ml)

  • 1 tablespoon of Soya Sunflower Oil (15ml)

Preparation Method

In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the water and mix, then add the oil and knead until a homogeneous dough forms.

Portion the dough into 65g balls and roll them out.

Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of oil and place the dough in it until it is golden brown on both sides, creating bubbles.

Tips: As chapati is a neutral pastry, you can fill it with whatever you like or serve it with sauces and antipasti such as hummus, dry curd or babaganush.
