3 unpeeled apples cut into cubes
Juice of half a lemon
½ cup sugar (100g)
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder (2.6g)
Ready pastry dough
1 unit of Soya Soya Oil for frying
For finishing
1 cup sugar (200g)
Cinnamon to taste
In a bowl, mix the apple, lemon, sugar and cinnamon. Fill the pastry and cut into the desired shape.
Heat the oil to 170°C and fry the pastries until lightly browned.
Fry the pastries until lightly browned.
Finishing Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and coat the fried pastries. Cook the pastries until golden brown.
Variations: If you want a "creamier" filling, add ¾ cup of water and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add it to the mixture.
