Ingredients

For pasta

  • 4 ovos
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar (200g)
  • 1 cup (250ml)
  • .
  • ¼ cup (tea) of Soya Corn Oil (60ml)
  • 2 tablespoons grated coconut (10g)
  • .
  • 2 cups (tea) wheat flour (240g)
  • .
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (15g)
  • .

For the syrup

  • 2 latas de leite condensado
  • 2 bottles of coconut milk (400ml)
  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • .

Finish

  • 1 packet of dry shredded coconut flakes (100g)

Preparation Method

For the dough

  1. Beat the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and grated coconut in a blender.
  2. .
  3. Pour in the cream from the blender and add the flour and baking powder.
  4. Pour the dough into a greased and floured 20 cm square pan

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Cut into square slices.

For the syrup

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl.
  2. Dip the cake slices into the syrup and leave for a few moments to absorb the liquid. The cake should come out considerably heavier.

Finish

  1. Pass the moistened cake in the grated coconut.
  2. Wrap in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
