Ingredients

8 tablespoons Soya Canola Oil
1 cup brown rice
1 dessert spoon salt
3 cups water
1 cup sliced Calabrian sausage
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped red pepper
1 cup vegetable stock
1 cup medium chopped green beans
1 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup curd cheese
Fresh thyme and rosemary leaves, chopped to taste
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

Rice: sauté the garlic and onion in the Soya Canola Oil, add the rice, fry, add the salt and water and cook with the pan covered. Once it's ready, open the pan and set it aside.

Linguiça.

Sausage: fry the sausage, garlic, onion and bell bell pepper in Soya Canola Oil. Add the green beans and carrots, mix well, add the vegetable stock and cook over a medium heat with the pan covered. If necessary, add a little water. Correct the salt and add the curd cheese. Turn off the heat, mix the vegetables with the brown rice and serve immediately. If you prefer, serve this dish as a salad, replacing the linguicinha with grilled chicken cubes or chopped ham.
