3 tablespoons Soya Oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup white rice
1/2 tablespoon ready-made seasoning complete with pepper
2 bay leaves
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup smoked bacon, diced, fried
3/4 cup cooked pine nuts, peeled and cut into pieces
2/3 cup Homemade Soya Mayonnaise
Salt, black or red pepper and green smell to taste
In a medium saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of Soya Soya Oil and add the garlic and then the onion to brown. Add the rice, then the ready-made seasoning and the bay leaf, stirring. Add the water and let it cook, over a medium heat and with the pan half-covered, until the water runs out and the grains are cooked and loose. Cover the pan and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Heat 1 tablespoon of Soya Oil in a frying pan. Add the chopped bacon and, over a medium heat, fry until the cubes are golden and dry. Add the pine nuts and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the rice, Homemade Soya Mayonnaise, greenery, pepper, adjust the salt, mix gently and remove from the heat.
