Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sugar (50 g)
  • ¼ cup milk (63 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons natural yogurt (45 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons of Soya Corn Oil (60 ml)
  • ½ cup wheat flour (70 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (5 g)
  • 1 pinch of baking soda

Preparation Method

Covering: Put the sugar, butter and peeled and sliced apples in the bottom of a 22 cm frying pan over low heat, cook the apples a little until the caramel begins to take on color.

Dough: In parallel, combine the egg, sugar, milk, natural yogurt, vanilla essence, lemon zest and Soya Corn Oil in a bowl. Reserve.

In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate. Sift and add the dry ingredients to the liquid.

Mix well.

Finishing:

Slowly pour the cake batter over the apples with the caramel in the pan and cover. Cook over a low heat for about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and turn out onto the serving plate.
