Ingredients

Para o tempero

  • 2 ramos de alecrim
  • 6 ramos de tomilho
  • 2 folhas de louro
  • 4 ramos de sálvia
  • 1 dente de alho
  • ¼ xícara (chá) de sal grosso (75 g)
  • 2 colheres (sopa) of Óleo de Soja Soya (30 ml)
  • 2 colheres (sopa) de mel

Ave

  • 4 kg de frango inteiro

Preparation Method

  1. Blend the herbs, garlic and salt in a food processor.
  2. In a bowl mix the oil with the honey, add the blended herbs and mix well.
  3. Spread this mixture on the thawed bird, inside and out, and leave to marinate overnight.
  4. Bake for about an hour and a half, in an oven at 180°C.

Tips: opt for roasting the bird uncovered first, to achieve the desired golden color. Then check the internal temperature of the bird: if the meat is 74°C, it's ready! If you need more time in the oven, cover with aluminum foil and bake until the temperature is reached.

Variations: you can use other poultry, such as turkey or chester, and follow the same preparation and tips as above.
