Junina Popcorn with Peanuts and Caramel

Ingredients

Delícia Supreme 100 g
Popcorn kernels 130 g
Roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped 280 g
Refined sugar 80 g
Brown sugar 75 g
Salt 5 g
Corn syrup 60 ml
Vanilla essence 5 ml
Baking soda 15 g
White chocolate, chopped, melted 30 g

Preparation Method

1. Place the corn kernels in a glass bowl and pop them in the microwave.
2. Remove, add the chopped peanuts and mix together.
3. Separately, combine the sugar and cinnamon and melt in the microwave oven.
4. Mix well, add the Delícia Supreme margarine in small portions and finally pour the corn syrup over everything.
5. Return to the microwave and heat on high for 30 seconds.
6. Remove, mix well and return to the microwave for another 2 minutes.
7. Remove again, add the vanilla and bicarbonate and mix again until frothy.
8. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and peanuts and mix until well combined.
9. Spread the popcorn out well on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 10 minutes.
11. In the microwave, melt the chocolate and use a spoon to spread it over the popcorn.
12. Wait for it to harden and then break it into pieces.

TIP
Put in a tightly closed container, it will keep well for several days.
