Instant dry biological yeast 8 g
Sugar 12 g
Egg 1 pc
Water 100 ml
Oil, for frying
Icing sugar for sprinkling
CREAM
Sugar 80 g
Starch 20 g
Milk 300 ml
Egg 1 pc
Vanilla essence 5 ml
Margarine Delícia Supreme 4 g
MASSA
1. In the bowl of the mixer with the hook, mix the ingredients in the order requested.
2. Knead until you have a very soft, smooth dough. If you prefer, mix and knead with your hands
3. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
4. Roll 12 balls of 5cm in diameter and set aside in a protected place until doubled in volume.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at a moderate temperature, without browning. Allow to cool
6. Fry them in plenty of hot oil and drain on absorbent paper.
7. Cut them in half, fill with the cream and sprinkle with icing sugar
CREAM
8. Set aside the vanilla and margarine.
9. Mix the sugar with the starch in a saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
10 Cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
11. Off the heat, add the vanilla and margarine and mix well.
12. Transfer to a glass or plastic bowl and cover with cling film so it doesn't form a film, and keep in the fridge until ready to use.
