Ingredients

Delícia Supreme 100 g
Yolk and white separated 3 pcs
Sugar 240 g
Orange zest 1 pcs
Cinnamon powder (optional) 1 pinch(s)
Wheat flour 220 g
Baking powder 10 g
Orange juice, boiled and hot 100 ml
Sugar 160 g

Preparation Method

1. Whisk the egg whites and set aside. Beat the egg yolks with the margarine, sugar and zest until light
2. Reduce the speed and gradually add the remaining ingredients and the beaten egg whites.
3. Pour into a greased and floured 23cm round or 26 x 20cm rectangular baking dish.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry. Unmold warm.
5. Pour the orange juice over the sugar, mix and spread over the cake.

TIP
Try adding 3 tablespoons of grated coconut to the syrup. If you want to decorate with orange slices in syrup, boil thin slices of pear orange in plenty of water for about 30 minutes. Discard the water and place the slices in a pan with 1 and 1/2 cups of water mixed with 1 cup of sugar
