1 Calabrian sausage
2 cups cooked white rice
2 eggs
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
3 chopped butter cabbage leaves
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup wheat flour
2 cups Soya Soybean Oil for frying
Filling
1 cup diced mozzarella
Food accompaniments
Homemade Soya Mayonnaise
Pepper sauce
Grind the sausage and put it in a bowl. Add the cooked rice, eggs, chopped parsley, cabbage, yeast and flour and mix well. Make balls, roll them out, fill with the mozzarella and close by shaping them into balls or croquettes. Heat the Soya Soya Oil in a pan. Gradually add a few dumplings and fry them over a medium heat until evenly browned. Remove them from the oil, place them on paper towels and repeat with the other dumplings until they are all fried. Serve them hot, accompanied by Homemade Soya Mayonnaise and chili sauce. A good tip is to serve them with feijoada.
