RECHESIO
Sugar 80 g
Cornstarch 45 g
Orange juice 250 ml
Delicious Creamy unsalted margarine 36 g
Cream cheese 100 g
Orange zest 2 g
COVERING
Candied orange 90 g
Sugar 160 g
Orange juice 85 ml
DECORATION
Whipped whipped cream 60 g
Fresh orange segments as much as needed
MASSA
1. Beat the eggs, sugar and Delícia Cremosa margarine in a mixer at high speed until the mixture is light and clear.
2. Reduce the speed and alternately add the milk and wheat flour.
3. At the end, add the zest and finally the yeast.
4. Pour the batter into a 19 cm diameter mold, greased with Delícia Cremosa margarine and sprinkled with wheat flour and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and unmold.
RECHEIO
5. In a saucepan, bring the sugar, the cornstarch dissolved in the orange juice and the Delícia Cremosa margarine to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it boils and thickens.
6. Remove from the heat, leave to cool, add the cream cheese and zest, mix well and set aside.
COVERY
7. Bring the sugar and juice to the boil in a saucepan until reduced. Leave to cool.
MONTAGE
8. Cut the cake in half horizontally, spread the filling, top with the candied orange and finally the other part of the cake.
9. Refrigerate for an hour.
DECORATION
10. Cover the whole cake with the whipped cream, smoothing it with a spatula. Pour on the jam and decorate with a fresh orange.
