Wholemeal caramelized banana bolus

Ingredients

Mass
2 bananas-large unpeeled bananas
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup Soya Canola Oil
1/2 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
Soya Margarine Cream to grease
Wheat flour to sprinkle

Covering
1 level teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon of sugar

Preparation Method

Caramelized banana: cut the bananas into slices. In a non-stick frying pan, add the sugar and water and let them dissolve and brown. Add the bananas and mix gently until they caramelize. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Dough: In a blender, blend the Soya Canola Oil, orange juice, sugar and eggs until smooth. Add the flour and caramelized bananas and blend until smooth. Remove from the blender and mix in the baking powder by hand. Pour the batter into a pan with a hole in the middle, greased with Soya Creamy Margarine and sprinkled with wheat flour and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 50 minutes. Allow to cool and unmold.

Covering: in a bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the entire cake.
