Ingredients

Dough
1 pot of natural yogurt
1/2 cup of Soya Canola Oil
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 cups of wheat flour
3 eggs
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons lemon zest
Soya canola oil for greasing
Wheat flour for dusting

Syrup
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of lemon juice

Garnish
Sicilian or tahitian lemon zest to taste

Preparation Method

Dough: set aside the yeast and lemon zest. Place all the other ingredients in a blender and blend until the dough is smooth. Turn off, put the dough in a bowl, add the yeast and zest and mix gently. Pour the batter into a rectangular pan, greased with Soya Canola Oil and floured. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, pour in the syrup and leave to cool.

Syrup: Place the sugar and lemon juice in a bowl and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Decorate to taste.
